map on the GNS430 displayed the filed routing into the NYC area.
Weather upon
arrival at the White Plains, NY Airport (KHPN) was IFR.
Panorama
Aviation provided us with crew car transportation to the White
Plains Metro train station just 10 away. Note the presence of
military security in the station.
Taking the
train is one of several ways of getting from nearby airports into
the Big Apple!
First stop,
Bloomingdales!
Daughter
Erica marches directly to the latest fashions . . . handbags by
Juicy!
No trip to the Big
Apple would be complete without a visit to the Empire State Building
. . .
or Times Square!
So there you have it.
A quick 250 mile flight from Buffalo to NYC for shopping, lunch,
sightseeing, and then back home before the evening news!
