The first step is pursuading spouse (Jo) to pull the airplane out of the hangar!

The enroute weather between Buffalo and New York City was picture perfect!

The moving map on the GNS430 displayed the filed routing into the NYC area.

Weather upon arrival at the White Plains, NY Airport (KHPN) was IFR.

Panorama Aviation provided us with crew car transportation to the White Plains Metro train station just 10 away. Note the presence of military security in the station.

Taking the train is one of several ways of getting from nearby airports into the Big Apple!

First stop, Bloomingdales!

Daughter Erica marches directly to the latest fashions . . . handbags by Juicy!

No trip to the Big Apple would be complete without a visit to the Empire State Building . . . or Times Square!
So there you have it.  A quick 250 mile flight from Buffalo to NYC for shopping, lunch, sightseeing, and then back home before the evening news!
